A motorcyclist has sustained serious injuries following a crash with another motorbike.
Police were called around 11.30am on Sunday August 14 to reports of a crash at Goose Hill in Portesham.
The crash caused delays and slow traffic and police asked motorists to avoid the area.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We were called at 11.32am on Sunday 14 August 2022 to reports of an RTC at Goose Hill in Portesham involving two motorcycles that were travelling westbound toward Abbotsbury.
“The male rider of one of the motorcycles has sustained serious injuries and has been taken to hospital for treatment. His condition is not described as life-changing or life-threatening.
“The road was blocked while emergency services dealt with the incident. It reopened at 2.04pm.”
