LYME Regis Museum is to host a ‘film walk’ showcasing the areas where a number of movies have been shot.
With Lyme featuring in as many as 13 films between 1948 and the present day, the guided walk around town will show you where they were filmed and how they transformed modern-day Lyme into the 18th and 19th centuries Lyme of Jane Austen and the French Lieutenant’s Woman.
It will also include the 1940s fictional town Tormouth, bits of Canada, Portsmouth, Isles of Scilly and more.
The next walk takes place on Wednesday, August 17 at 11am.
The duration of the walk is around 90 minutes and finishes at the Cobb. Adult tickets cost £8.75 and children/student £6.75. Tickets can be purchased at the Lyme Regis Museum website.
