A west Dorset-based beauty salon is hosting a charity raffle to celebrate 21 years in the community and 10 years under the ownership of Caroline Street.
The Beauty Room has been located at The Old Vicarage, nestled away in Beaminster, since 2001 with Caroline taking over in August 2012.
Caroline, a registered nurse since she was 18 years old, worked for nearly two decades in the NHS before turning her attention full-time to the salon in 2017.
She had initially taken on The Beauty Room with her friend Susie Roberts who, in 2019, stepped down from the business.
Sadly, Susie passed away but, as The Beauty Room, say “her beautiful, charismatic, effervescent personality forever be the reason Caroline is able to look back on ten years of successful business.”
To celebrate Caroline’s ten year ownership of the business, the salon is running a raffle in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Tickets are available to buy until Monday, September 12 with some fantastic prizes including a £200 Beauty Room voucher, a mystery trio of wines, flowers and plenty more.
