Bridport Folk Festival in 2017 and was, in the organiser's own words, a 'cracking' festival.
However things haven't always been easy; the festival suffered a washout in 2018 and 2019 the pandemic began.
Before the event, organiser Chris Deacon said: "This festival is going to be bigger and better than ever. It's going to be a stonking year and hopefully we're in for some luck this time with the weather."
He also wanted to thank the hard work of volunteers and Bridport Town Council for helping bring the festival together.

"Bridport is superb," he said. "I've never been to a town with a bigger heart than Bridport. I've put callouts for volunteers and they've come, musicians and I've been inundated. That's the nature of Bridport - it's a superb place to be."
