It’s full steam ahead as the Bridport and District Model Railway Club’s annual summer exhibition returns.
After a three-year absence due to the pandemic, the model railway exhibition will return to a new venue at The Sir John Colfox Academy, Ridgeway, Bridport on Saturday July 30 from 10am until 4pm.
Due to the change in venue, there will be a much larger exhibition area, more layouts, demonstrations and traders than previous years.
Visitors will be able to view a wide variety of layouts in various gauges and themes, from both local exhibitors and those coming from farther afield.
Adding both a local and international theme will be layouts representing steam and modern railway scenes.
Many other layouts will be able to view, depicting scenes with a wide variety of stock from different periods of time.
There will be a stand where visitors will have the opportunity to buy both new and second-hand model railway products and a variety of other traders will also be present to purchase from, with hot and cold refreshments available on the day.
The exhibition will be supported by PECO, the world-famous model railway manufacturer from Beer, Devon.
Car parking is available in the car park and admission prices are: Adults £6, Child (under 16 years) Free, Family (2 adults +2 children) £10.
