A popular festival will take over town this weekend.
Bridport Folk Festival is back with more than 300 musicians and dancers across five stages over Saturday and Sunday.
Main open air events will be held on Millennium Green, Bucky Doo and the Borough Gardens.
Dances and concerts will take place in town hall, festival marquee, WI Hall and Church House.
Road closures will be put in place at Downes Street and Barrack Street on Saturday and Sunday for festival activities.
Expect to see Morris dancing around the town but there is no Sunday road closure on South Street this year.
Three concerts will take place and three main dances.
Friday opens with a welcome concert which will feature Reg Meuross and Helena Softley.
Saturday's headliners are The Countrymen at the town hall, while over at Millennium Green you'll see The Captain's Beard and Merry Hell.
Tickets and full programmes are available from the TIC.
Bridport Folk Festival in 2017 and was, in the organiser's own words, a 'cracking' festival.
However things haven't always been easy; the festival suffered a washout in 2018 and 2019 the pandemic began.
Organiser Chris Deacon said: "This festival is going to be bigger and better than ever. It's going to be a stonking year and hopefully we're in for some luck this time with the weather."
Chris encouraging anyone who hasn't been before to come and check it out.
"Come with an open heart and a joyful heart," he said. "You will not be disappointed."
He also wanted to thank the hard work of volunteers and Bridport Town Council for helping bring the festival together.
"Bridport is superb," he said. "I've never been to a town with a bigger heart than Bridport. I've put callouts for volunteers and they've come, musicians and I've been inundated. That's the nature of Bridport - it's a superb place to be."
