A LIFEBOAT launched a search and rescue after a paddleboarder found themselves in trouble.
Volunteers with the RNLI in Lyme Regis launched a lifeboat shortly after 6pm on Sunday night (July 17) after they received a report of a paddleboarder ‘in difficulties’ after falling off his board.
The paddleboarder reportedly fell from his board 300-400m from the shore at Beer.
Remarkably, the paddleboarder was found safe and well on Beer beach after he made his own way back ashore.
The RNLI Lifeboat crew returned to Lyme Regis at 6.40pm.
