One of the biggest events in Bridport’s calendar kicks off tonight.
Jurassic Fields returns to Asker Meadows this evening.
The hotly-anticipated music festival is back for the first time since 2019, when Covid-19 put a stop to events and gatherings.
This year’s line-up boasts The Pigeon Detectives, Scouting for Girls and Mad Dog McRea as main stage headliners, as well as The Undercover Hippy and Dr Meaker at the Big Top and Victor Vector and Dj Jimi Needles over on the Tiny Top.
The three-day event will come to a close on Sunday night.
Day tickets were released for the first time this year due to popular demand - and last night, organisers said the event is now sold out.
Jurassic Fields aims to provide a community event celebrating music.
Its long term objective is to provide the capital to set up a local professional music studio and rehearsal hall run by volunteers, allowing the sourcing and provision of grants to enable local musicians to further their careers.
It's only grown in popularity, and this year marks the festival's seventh year.
