The annual joint Beaminster and Colfox Art and Photography Exhibition can now be viewed at Bridport Arts Centre.
The exhibition, which is on until July 1, features work from year 12 and year 13 art and photography students from the Sir John Colfox Academy and Beaminster School.
Louise Burgess, head of art at the Sir John Colfox Academy, said: “This will be a superb exhibition showcasing our students’ talents. Our students have been producing amazing art work relating to a wide range of initial starting points and themes. The work on show is highly original, creative and personal, the exhibition is well worth a visit.”
The exhibition features year 13 students’ personal investigations of a range of powerful themes, such as skeletal form, cells, fables, portraiture, conflict, natural form and landscape. It also includes expressive portraits, figure studies and mixed media work by year 12 students.
The exhibition will be open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10am to 4pm.
