Vintage vehicles will make tracks for West Bay today and tomorrow as a rally returns following a two-year absence.
West Bay Vintage Rally, organised by the West Dorset Vintage Tractor and Stationary Engine Club, will be held at Melplash Showground, Bridport.
It runs from 9am-4pm on both days and features vintage vehicle parades, ring displays, steam engines and market stalls.
Organisers say they are ‘very pleased’ the rally - first held in 1979 - is returning. It has not been held for the past two years due to the pandemic.
The event usually attracts large crowds and will be raising money for local causes.
A vintage auction will take place on the showground today starting at 10am, with local food and drink vendors also present at the event.
West Bay Vintage Rally changed locations in 2013, relocating to the Melplash Showground after being held at Brit Valley Meadows
Tickets are £2 for 11-16-year-olds, £8 for OAPs and £10 for adults, with under 11s free. Visit www.wdvtsec.com or find the club on Facebook.
