RESIDENTS in Dorset living with multiple sclerosis (MS) are being invited to take part in two surveys.
The MS Society’s My MS My Needs survey – which is run in partnership with the UK MS Register – takes place every three years.
Past results have led to significant findings about MS treatment and care across the UK. This year will be the first time the survey has run since the start of Covid-19, and will provide invaluable insight into how the pandemic has impacted those with the condition.
Alongside My MS My Needs, the charity also run an accompanying survey for those who support a family member, partner or friend with MS.
More than 130,000 people in the UK live with MS, including an estimated 11,000 in the south west region.
The condition damages nerves in your body and makes it harder to do everyday things, like walk, talk, eat and think.
To take part visit www,ukmsregister.org/mymsmyneeds and www.mssociety.org.uk/FriendsFamily
Both surveys close on August 1.
