A section of Rope Walks in Bridport town centre is to be closed for technical engineering works to be carried out.
The road will be closed between The Tanyard and its junction with Gundry Lane, a distance of approximately 100 metres, to allow Openreach to lay ducting.
The works are programmed to run between 9.30am and 3.30pm on Tuesday, June 7 and again the following day. A diversion will be in place during the closure, say the broadband company’s bosses.
Openreach will publicise the road closure by placing information boards on the road in the area and send letters to local residents directly affected by the works.
They will also sign a diversion route for vehicles using the local road network.
