Dorset Police are highlighting an operation in a bid to tackle knife crime.
Operation Sceptre, is a national campaign which takes place twice a year, supporting the work police carry out all year round to ensure residents are safe from knife crime in their community.
A spokeswoman from Dorset Police said: "Possession of a knife can carry a prison sentence of up to four years even if it's not used. It can also result in a criminal record and ruined job prospects for jobs or further education.
"Report any information on knife crime or people who carry them, contact police on 101, or for emergencies call 999."
Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on: 0800 555 111.
