POLICE have issued an urgent warning to residents in Dorset to be aware of courier fraudsters.
Millions of pounds is reported to be lost every year because of such criminals, as police urge people to be aware of the common examples of courier fraud.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Millions of pounds are lost every year to courier fraudsters.

Common examples of courier fraud include a phone call out of the blue from someone claiming to be from the bank or police, advising of an issue with a card, asking for a pin number and sending a courier to collect your card.
