BRIDPORT Rugby Club’s jubilant under-15s have broken the daily collecting record courtesy of Morrisons Community Support.
Bridport's juniors can now afford to host and face the incoming French juniors of Lège Cap-Ferret. The French could not get seats to Bristol, and have to take a bus transfer from Luton, meaning added costs for their party.
All junior players will have a light breakfast at Bridport Rugby Clubhouse this Saturday, followed by a combined gruelling two-hour training session.
The matches will be this Sunday morning, followed for the French by a full Sunday lunch at Highlands End Holiday Park.
However, not all juniors are involved. Bridport’s Tiny Tots will have to wait a few more years before tackling the French, home or away!
