Traffic is reportedly 'at a standstill' on the A35 between Bridport and Dorchester.
It is thought to be queues connected to holiday traffic - people heading to the coast or attractions, or travellers heading home after the Easter weekend - rather than any particular road incident.
As well as queues on the A35 between Bridport and Dorchester there are also reports of delays in Bridport itself and on the bypass and on the Dorchester bypass.
