WATERLINE 2022, the second in a long-term collaboration between Tricia Scott and Lois Wakeman, is a fascinating exhibition of contemporary abstract photography that features the weathered and textured surfaces of boats.
It will be running at the Rotunda Gallery of the Lyme Regis Museum from April 26 until June 12.
Tricia Scott (ARPS) and Lois Wakeman (LRPS) discovered they share an uncannily similar view of the world soon after they first met.
Lois said: “We both lived in Devon and spent many happy days out on photographic forays in the south west, until Tricia moved to the USA at the end of last year, leaving me to carry on the project this side of the Atlantic.”
Both like to look for abstract photographs and living by the coast, seaside subjects naturally suggested themselves. For this show they have chosen a small series of abstract photographs of boat hulls out of the water.
Waterline 2022 is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am-5pm and on Sunday from 10am-4pm. Admission fees to the museum apply and for further information visit www.lymeregismuseum.co.uk
