BRIDPORT Reserves went without a win this week after picking up a draw and suffering a loss in Jewson Dorset Premier League action.
Chris Herbst’s men, who have a backlog of fixtures to complete before the season finishes, drew 2-2 with Swanage Town & Herston before losing 2-0 to champions Hamworthy Rec.
Bridport did not take the lead at any stage against the Swans, despite the best efforts of Riley Weedon, who hit the woodwork in the first minute.
Swanage did settle after the Bees’ early chance and an incisive pass from Charlie Dyke dissected the Bees’ backline, enabling Cody Moore to score.

Moore’s afternoon soured on 24 minutes when he was sent off for an alleged retaliation.
After half-time, Swanage nearly added to their lead when Charlie Brassington rounded Jordon Scadding only to shoot wide from a tight angle.
Bridport piled on the pressure against the 10 men and finally broke through on 80 minutes when Josh Hunter beat the offside trap for 1-1.
But Bridport were undone three minutes later when Ryan Moss tapped home from close range to restore the Swans’ lead.
That was until a blockbuster strike from Sam Handyside rescued a point for the Bees, the midfielder crashing in a 25-yard stunner to share the points.
Bridport went on to lose 2-0 to Ham Rec in midweek, leaving the Bees eighth in the table with seven games to go.
