FIREFIGHTERS rushed to the scene of a commercial van which was alight.
Crews were called to the blaze on St Swithins Road in Bridport yesterday afternoon (April 5) at 4.43pm.
A spokesman for Bridport Fire Station said: "One pump was mobilised to a vehicle fire on St Swithins Road. On arrival crews found a commercial van well alight.
"The fire was extinguished using two hose reel jets, environment agency pack and thermal imaging camera.
"The local authority were also requested to lay down sand due to oils left on the road."
