MORE stunning images have been produced by talented local photographers.
Delays caused by the pandemic has meant Bridport Camera Club’s spring season has been packed with challenges for members as they've had to squeeze a year’s worth of competitions between January and Mays.
The second competition of the year in early March had the theme 'soft focus'.
Carol Tritton from the club said: "The brief was deliberately left very open so it could include many ways in which focus might not be sharp, whether through choice of focal length, shooting through gauze, intentional camera movement and more. The point was that the ‘soft focus’ should play a positive role in the image, enhancing the story or atmosphere in a way that a conventionally sharp photograph might not.
"The judge, John Tilsley, really enjoyed the imaginative and creative variety of the entries and was particularly impressed by the way that Group B, generally new and less experienced members, really rose to the challenge."

The still life competition followed in mid-March.
Carol said: "The judge was award-winning Fine Art photographer Tim Booth who gave each image thoughtful and detailed consideration. Using his own experience as a professional photographer he advised on ways to diffuse light using white sheeting or even toilet paper, the difficulties of shooting highly reflective objects and the importance of perseverance and trial and error to perfect a shot. The high quality of the images made choosing the award winners really difficult with very little to chose between them."
