BRIDPORT caretaker boss Shaun Annetts will “pull out all the stops” as the Bees attempt to beat Brislington at St Mary’s Field on Saturday (3pm).
Annetts’ men have won just once all season – a 2-1 home success over fellow Toolstation Western League Premier Division strugglers Ashton & Backwell United.
They have lost 28 of 29 league games and are all but mathematically relegated.
The Bees have also crashed out of all four cup competitions available to them after the 6-0 loss to Tavistock in the Les Phillips Cup first round last Saturday.
And Annetts is now looking for victory to reward his depleted Bridport squad in a fixture he has long targeted.

He told the Bridport News: “We have to be buoyed a little bit by the fact we’ve got a home game against Brislington.
“I really do want to pull out all the stops, if I can, to get us well prepared. I just feel the players deserve to get a result between now and the end of the season.
“Brislington at home is one I’ve targeted. I don’t want to say too much and jinx it.
“It’s easier for me to get a side together to play at home than it is away, for sure.”
Annetts also confirmed he has received assistance since mid-February from former Radstock Town Reserves boss Edgar Marcu.
The Romanian coach was present at Tavistock on Saturday and has also helped bring in promising young striker Raul Vasile, who made his debut against the Lambs.
Annetts said: “He’s a very enthusiastic and driven individual who saw our plight, contacted me and said: ‘I can see you’re struggling, would you like my help?’
“We’ve been talking over the last few weeks. He took his first training session for me (last) Tuesday and he was very good.
“He’s a good coach, I’m not sure he realises what he’s let himself in for!
“He drove all the way down to Tavistock to be with me and his help will be invaluable for these remaining seven games.”
Bridport have injury doubts over captain Jake Owen (knee) plus fellow defenders Dan Baggs (hip) and Jake Hawker (shoulder).
