A LIST has been compiled of the 10 most expensive streets to live in the DT postcode - with one street in Lyme Regis making the top three.
Meanwhile, a street in Bridport was highlighted as one of the least expensive places to live in the same postcode.
Pound Street in Lyme Regis is the third most expensive street to live on in the DT postcode area, with three properties sold for an average house price of £986,666.
Lyme was recently singled out as one of the most expensive places to buy in the UK.
Home sales company Property Solvers tracked average sold price data from HM Land Registry since early 2016 to see where the highest-priced homes are located across the DT postcode area.
Coming top of the rich list is West Stafford, near Dorchester, with three properties sold for an average of £1,363,666, while Newland in Sherborne came in second place saw three properties sold for an average of £1,050,000.
The data also revealed the 10 cheapest streets to live on with East Street, in Bridport, as the eighth least expensive place to live in the DT postcode area.
East Street, below, saw 16 properties sell for an average of £89,465.
Property Solvers co-founder Ruban Selvanayagam said: “To keep the data less skewed, we only ranked the streets that had more than three sales.
"It’s therefore worth noting that, in recent years, a property on Puddletown sold for £3,175,000 and, at the other end of the market, there were properties that sold for £70,000 and under on Westham Road in Weymouth, Rhodes House in Coronation Road on Portland, and Cheap Street in Sherborne."
Fourth of the most-expensive street is Rhode Lane in Uplyme with five properties sold for an average house price of £962,000.
Fifth was Bradford Road in Sherborne with six properties sold for an average house price of £876,666.
Sixth was Stowell, also in Sherborne with three properties sold for an average house price of £860,000.
Seventh is Piddletrenthide with three properties sold for an average of £858,333.
Eighth is Fore Street in Evershot with four properties sold for an average of £856,250.
Ninth of the list is Church Street in Weymouth with five properties sold for an average of £856,000, while finishing tenth is Litton Cheney with three properties sold for an average of £844,000.
