A motorist who drove without insurance or a valid MoT test certificate has been banned from the road for six months.
Luke Jay Greenfield, 28, of North Chideock, used a motor vehicle on the A358 in Musbury, near Axminster, east Devon, without a third party insurance policy being in force, and without a valid test certificate.
Greenfield appeared at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, January 18 to plead guilty to the offences, which took place in May last year.
He was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for six months. This ruling was obligatory because of his repeat offending. He was also handed a fine of £395.
The magistrates determined that the defendant must also pay a victim surcharge of £40 and costs of £110.
