A company's website has had a makeover - making it easy for customers to choose and order products from the comfort of their own home.
Family-run business Groves Nurseries & Garden Centre, which has stores in Bridport and Beaminster, has revealed its newly refreshed site – just in time for local customers keen to take advantage of essential winter fuel and Christmas gift deliveries direct to the doorstep.
The magazine-style site has plenty of content to enjoy, with gardening tips, latest news and opening information as well as a comprehensive product range covering gardening essentials, tools and outdoor living as well as gifts, pet care and fuel.
A curated seasonal selection of plants is available providing inspiration for all sizes of gardens and green spaces. Overseen by Nursery Manager Becky Groves, stock will be regularly updated to reflect the gardening calendar and stock availability.
Managing Director Charlie Groves said: “We want to make it easy and enjoyable for our local customers to choose and order products from the comfort of their own home, including access to items we don’t keep on the shop floor all year round such as garden furniture and barbecues.
"With the recent cold snap and storms the logs, kindling and winter fuel have been flying out of the store, and wild bird feed is also proving very popular."
He added: “Our Christmas Shoppe is open, and customers are popping in for a cup of tea at The Ivy House and a browse of our popular gift section knowing they can also buy online later.”
The webshop clearly displays instore availability and allows customers to collect Privilege Card points. At the checkout, online shoppers choose between Groves van delivery straight to home on a nominated day or collection from the garden centre in Bridport, with courier delivery available for anyone further afield.
Online visitors are also able to book a table for lunch at Ivy House Kitchen in advance and browse the full menu.
Santa will be visiting for a winter BBQ in December but you’ll need to book quick as tickets are selling out fast.
