BRIDPORT Amateur Boxing Club will stage its annual shownight at Freshwater Beach Holiday Park this Saturday.
It is the first time the evening of boxing will take place since 2019, due to the pandemic.
Ringside fans will be treated to at least 15 bouts on the card, featuring boxers from all over the country.
Fighting gets under way at 7.30pm – without delay – and six Bridport punchers are set to take to the canvas.
Junior Attinger, Sam Morris, Will Conboy, Louka Parkman, Blake Davies and Sonny Tanner are the home town hopefuls.
Event organiser Alan Slaney told the Bridport News: “Bridport had got 14 people carded and sadly because of Covid, illness and injuries we’ve only got six.
“They’re all up for it, want to represent the club and are raring to go.
“We’re hoping to have a fair night and a good crowd. They always back us well.
“Tickets can be bought at the door, they’re £20. All we want to do now is get on with it!”
Boxers are attending from famous clubs around the United Kingdom.
Southampton’s Golden Ring, the Heart of Portsmouth, Bristol’s Downend, Newquay and numerous Dorset clubs will be in attendance.
Slaney added: “We’re hoping to have a decent bill on and I hope everyone goes home happy.”
Tickets can be purchased by calling Bridport Tourist Information Centre on 01308 424901.
