ARTWORK inspired by the local area will be exhibited at a free event in a village hall.
Work by several artists will be available to buy while it is exhibited at The Comrades Hall, Broadwindsor, on October 16.
Artwork created by pupils from Broadwindsor Primary School will also be on display.
Margery Hookings, a writer who lives in the village, is leading a project, named The Place I Love, which will create an interpretive map of Broadwindsor, and she is inviting residents to tell her what they love about the village during next weekend's event.
The interpretive map, which is being designed by Megan Edwards, whose family live in the village, will be unveiled in February 2022.
Entry to the exhibition is free and guests are asked to bring cash with which to buy artwork, as there are no card payment facilities.
The Place I Love project is funded by Dorset Council, Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Broadwindsor Group Parish Council, and supported by volunteers in the community.
