NICK Wright and Hannah Oldham shone as Bridport Tennis Club held its annual finals day in glorious sunshine.
Finals day was well supported as Wright won the men’s singles and Oldham the ladies' singles.
In the other competitions, Alan Cash and Roy Perkins won the men’s doubles, with Niamh Vercoe and Billy Lintell winning the ladies' doubles final.
The mixed doubles trophy was won by Cash and Vercoe with Julian Jones and Jacqui Mitchell winning the veterans' doubles competition.
Finals day was the culmination of qualifying tournaments held throughout September with the whole event being sponsored by Huck Nets of Bridport who generously donated new nets for all four courts, while the club invested in having the courts cleaned and repainted in preparation for the autumn and winter months ahead.
The club always welcomes new members and anyone wishing to join is asked to visit the Bridport Tennis Club website. Members of the public can also book courts via the website and the Bridport Tourist Information Office.
