A MAN has appeared in court accused of possessing hundreds of indecent images of children.
Jack David Larcombe, aged 25, of Alexandra Road, Bridport, appeared before Weymouth Magistrates’ Court.
Prosecutor, Richard Oakley, briefly outlined the allegations before the court and revealed that police officers seized Larcombe’s two phones, two computers and a tablet from his home address on October 18, 2019.
Indecent images were reportedly found on the devices, namely 128 category A images, 345 category B images and more than 400 category C images.
Larcombe spoke to confirm his name, address, and date of birth at his court appearance yesterday.
He entered no plea to the three charges to possession of Category A, B and C indecent images of children.
The case was adjourned for a case management hearing at Bournemouth Crown Court on Monday, October 25.
Chairman of the bench, Stephen Cowley told Larcombe: “You are being sent for trial at Bournemouth Crown Court for these offences heard in the court today. You will be there on October 25 for a case management hearing.”
Larcombe was released on unconditional bail.
