THE public are being alerted to the main examples of modern slavery.
It comes as police officers across Dorset highlight the signs to look out for when it comes to modern slavery across the county.
Modern slavery examples include labour (where victims will work for the offender for free), organ harvesting (victim's organs, blood or eggs may be taken to be sold - not yet identified in the UK), crime (victims are forced or coerced into criminal activity such as shoplifting), sexual (victims can work, or appear willing to work in the sex industry), and domestic servitude (victims are forced to carry out household tasks movement is likely restricted).

A spokesman from Dorset Police said: "There are different kinds of modern slavery.
"Signs include victims being closely guarded, afraid to talk and having signs of physical abuse such as bruises or other injuries.
"We're asking people to spot the signs of modern slavery and if you see something suspicious please get in touch."
