A RIVERSIDE home featured in hit TV programme Broadchurch has been valued at almost 50 per cent higher than before the show hit TV screens.
Using historic data and valuing, We Buy Any Home has valued 25 of the UK’s most iconic homes from TV and film, including the home of DI Alec Hardy - played by David Tennant - in the hit ITV show, Broadchurch.
Originally valued at £207,127 before the series caught the attention of people across the country, We Buy Any Home valued the two-bedroom riverside chalet at £304,353, an increase of 47 per cent since 2013.
The home buying company also calculated how much it would cost to rent the property, which worked out at around £1,140 per calendar year.
Alec Hardy's riverside home went on the market in 2020, for a price of £325,000. The property, built in 1900, is currently listed on Property Heads' website at £290,000.
It comes with two bedrooms and its own boat mooring, as well as river and harbour views.
