A DROP-IN session is going ahead for people interested in affordable housing in a local village.
The Burton Bradstock Community Land Trust (CLT) will be holding a drop-in session to give an update on the trust’s activities and news relevant for people interested in affordable housing in the village and in West Dorset generally.
The information session will be open to everyone and will be held in Burton Bradstock Village Hall on Wednesday, September 22 from 5.30pm to 8pm.
There will be an update on what the CLT has been doing to achieve its aim of providing local needs housing in Burton Bradstock and the issues it has encountered.
Dorset Council will be providing information and support regarding the current changes to the Housing Register.
CLT Board Chair David Dixon said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to update CLT members and anyone else interested in local need housing in this area on what the Trust Board members have been working on.
“This includes evaluating possible sites for future affordable housing in Burton. There are also important changes to Dorset’s Housing Register at the moment, so we hope this session will be useful for people who find themselves in housing need.
“Come along, have a chat and ask any questions you may have."
Application forms to become a member of the CLT will also be available at the drop-in session.
