STAFF at a bookstore had a visit from a camera crew this week - and are set to be featured on a popular TV programme in the near future.
Little Toller Books on Church Street in Beaminster was approached by a production team from BBC One's popular rural property show Escape to the Country.
Owner of the store Martin Maudsley agreed to an interview about living in Beaminster and running a business during the pandemic.
Jon Wollcott, who works at Little Toller, said: "It was out of the blue for us.
"They wanted to talk to us about the bookshop, but they also wanted to know what it is like to live and work in Beaminster. We are always interested in talking to people about why Dorset is an amazing place to live."
He added: "As a bookshop, we opened a year ago and we have been overwhelmed by the support of the community.
"We have been really pleased by how the community has responded to the store because it the only bookshop in Beaminster at the moment."
He said that it was not yet known when the episode featuring the local shop would air but said the crew told staff they would be in touch to let them know.
Little Toller Books started as an independent publisher which runs from the same premises.
The publishing company was first started in 2008 with a singular purpose: to revive forgotten and classic books about nature and rural life in the British Isles.
The book store opened in November last year.
