THERE has been a further coronavirus-related death recorded at University Hospitals Dorset (UHD).
Figures from the NHS show the latest Covid-19 death recorded at the UHD site was on Sunday, September 5.
Prior to the update, the last recorded coronavirus-related death was recorded at the UHD site on Saturday, September 4.
The figures, which have been released today (Wednesday, September 8) show there has been a total of 766 Covid-19 deaths recorded at UHD since the start of the pandemic.
UHD incorporates the former Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals Trust, as well as Poole Hospital.
The total number of coronavirus-related deaths at Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester are up to 116 since the start of the pandemic - with the last patient to die with Covid-19 on Friday, September 3.
Elsewhere, Dorset Healthcare, the trust responsible for community hospitals and mental health care, has recorded 73 Covid-19 deaths since the start of the pandemic, with the last recorded Covid-19 death at Dorset Healthcare Universities Trust was recorded on March 14.
