A ROCKFALL was reported at a Dorset beach, leading to an investigation.
Coastguards were called to reports of a rockfall roughly one and a half kilometers to the east of Charmouth at 11.07am yesterday morning.
They carried out an investigation to ensure everyone on the beach was safe.
A spokesman for Lyme Regis Coastguard said: "Lyme Regis Coastguard team was tasked to reports of a rockfall 1.5km to the east Charmouth. The coastguard carried out an investigation to ensure that everybody on the beach was safe and that the fall posed no further risk to members of the public.
"For emergencies on the sea, cliff, river, mud, harbour and beach call 999 and ask for the coastguard."
