SO THE developers didn’t turn up to meet the public at the displays in Bridport and Eype. Disappointing but hardly surprising.
It seems these consortiums are happy to hide in anonymity and let Dorset Council do their work.
With regard to the cynical name change: Vearse Farm is, of course, redolent with associations of a pastoral green-field past - the landscape of Hardy, Barnes and Powys. Foundry Lea smacks of a bleak post-industrial landscape crying out for redevelopment into a brave new world. We are truly doomed.
