A PERSON has been arrested and a road is partially blocked following a three vehicle crash in Bridport. 

The A35 Sea Road South is partially blocked and heavy traffic is building in the area due to reports of a crash near the B3157 Burton Road (Crown roundabout).

Police are attending the scene and have said a person has been arrested for alleged driving offences. 

A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "We were called at 8.46am on Tuesday 10 August 2021 to a report of a three vehicle collision near to The Crown roundabout in Bridport.

"One person has been arrested for a driving offence and is currently assisting officers with their enquiries. Recovery has been requested for the vehicles.
