THOUSANDS of second hand books will be up for grabs at a book sale this weekend.
The annual Stoke Abbott Street Fair - originally scheduled to go ahead on Saturday, July 17 - unfortunately had to be cancelled as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
However, the team behind the event are still making sure some street fair favourites are going ahead, including the Stoke Abbott 'Book Barn'.
The event will take place in the Stoke Farm barn on Saturday, August 7 from 12pm until 5pm.
There will be a few thousand second hand books available at 'absurdly low prices' to be sold in aid of the village hall and St Mary's Church.
Cream teas will also be served in the village hall from 2pm until 5pm for the same good causes.
The 2022 Stoke Abbott Street Fair is set to go ahead on Sunday, July 17 2022.
