THREE more Bridport players have tested positive for Covid-19, the Bridport News can reveal.
One other player is self-isolating after coming in contact with the affected trio.
Manager Rob Marquis has returned a negative test since the 4-0 pre-season loss to Portland United on Tuesday evening.
The Blues have been informed and have not returned a positive result.
Bridport will now be without the quartet for Saturday's Western League opener against Helston Athletic at St Mary's Field (3pm).
Should Bridport return further positive tests before then, the Bees could end up having to postpone the game.
Earlier in July, Bridport had two positive cases before declaring themselves clear of the virus.
