THE weather is expected to stay dry across Dorset for the remainder of the week - with temperatures reaching 32°C, according to the Met Office.
Since Saturday, areas including Weymouth, Portland, Dorchester and West Dorset have been hit by extremely warm weather reaching as high as 29°C - with temperatures staying around 20°C during nighttime, which has seen a few restless nights for some.
Today, the Met Office predict another dry day with unbroken sunshine. Into the afternoon some high cloud moving in from the west, whereas in the extreme east patchy cloud will develop, bringing the odd and potential thundery shower. A maximum temperature of 32 °C is predicted.
The sun will set around 10pm.
Tonight, any predicted daytime showers will clear during the evening to leave a dry night with mainly clear skies. Patches of high cloud over the west throughout the night. Another warm night. Minimum temperature 16 °C.
Tomorrow, some patchy high cloud is predicted, but for most another dry and largely sunny day. A small chance of a heavy shower developing later in the east. The Met Office predict another hot day with maximum temperature 32 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Another largely dry and hot day on Friday with sunny spells and some isolated showers. Rain, perhaps thundery arriving on Friday evening and into the weekend. Cooling down.
