A GROUP which supports those affected by cancer is hoping to bring back face-to-face get togethers this month.
Members of the Living Tree has not been able to host face-to-face gatherings inside since the start of the Covid pandemic in March 2020.
The group's trustees opened a new allotment in March of this year to allow members to interact in person whilst doing some gardening.
However, outside of the allotment, the group has only been able to offer Zoom meetings.
The trustees are hoping to be able to restart face-to-face meetings from Friday, July 23.
The group plans to use Church House Hall - adjacent to St Mary's Church on South Street - from 2pm until 4pm. The building can safely accommodate up to 30 people whilst still maintaining social distancing.
There are also plans to use the Friends' Meeting House on a fortnightly basis from 1.30pm until 2.30pm.
The trustees are looking for volunteers to help with cleaning, preparation and tidying of both Church House Hall and the Friends' Meeting House before and after meetings to meet the Covid requirements of the venue hire. If you would like to help email thelivingtreedorset@gmail.com.
