I AM writing in with a heavy heart to say that my godmother, Neata Brown, passed away peacefully at Coneygar Lodge Nursing Home. At an outstanding age of 101, she was the eldest resident ever at the home.
Despite the sadness of this time, I would like to take the opportunity to thank the staff at Coneygar Lodge for the exceptional quality of care that she was given throughout her stay and especially during her final days.
We all hear of horrifying stories of homes at the moment, but, the way she was looked after was truly exemplary. Thank you all for the care and attention you gave.
Finally, I must thank A. G. Down Funeral Directors, their attention to detail and care during the process of preparing for the funeral made a difficult time easier. The funeral was followed by a moving celebration of life conducted by Julian Hussey. Thank you all at A.G. Down for your compassion and respect.
