A MOTORBIKE rider has been arrested for drink driving and speeding.
The Dorset Police No Excuse Team stopped a motorcyclist on West Road in Bridport yesterday after he was caught riding at 57mph in a 30mph zone.
The 59-year-old was arrested for speeding and drink driving.
A spokesman for the Dorset Police No Excuse Team said: "In Bridport on West Road a motorbike was stopped for doing 57mph in a 30mph zone. The 59-year-old rider was arrested for speeding and drink driving.
"Fortunately for him he blew under the limit at the police station, so was released. He was reported to court for the speeding offence."
