A PLASTIC free event has been postponed due to the extension of the lockdown conditions.
Due to the extension of the lockdown restrictions until Monday, July 19, Plastic Free Bridport has had to postpone its Plastic Free Picnic event.
The event was set to challenge residents to enjoy a picnic without any single use plastics.
The picnic would have seen live music and any single use plastic spotted in anyone's picnic hamper would occur a penalty entry fee
A spokesman for Plastic Free Bridport said: "We are very sorry to announce that due to the Covid restrictions being extended for another few weeks we have no choice but to cancel our Plastic Free Picnic.
"We are still planning to hold one during the summer so please keep watching our Facebook page for further updates."
The event was due to take place on Sunday, July 4.. There has been no confirmation yet as to a revised date.
