A PUBLIC meeting to decide how a church's 200th birthday will be celebrated has been postponed.
St Swithun's Church in Bridport will be 200 years old in 2027. To mark the occasion, the church community is searching for new ways the church can fulfil its mission within the town.
This was due to begin with an open meeting on Saturday, July 3. This has been postponed as a result of the lifting of coronavirus restrictions being lifted.
The meeting will now go ahead on Saturday, September 11 from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
The team behind this project would like as many people as possible to be part of the process.
They have some initial ideas but would love to involve others in taking things forward.
All who would like to be involved in this project are invited to attend.
