A MEETING is set to be held this month following a study to improve access to Bridport town centre.
Bridport Town Council launched its Access and Movement Study in January with an aim to 'improve connectivity' for both pedestrians and motorists.
The third and final stage of the study saw the development of illustrated options for improvements based on the feedback of local residents.
The council is currently working on a final report which will be considered at a meeting of the council's planning committee on Monday, June 28. The report will summarise the findings of the study, the evidence used including community engagement activity, and options for the future.
Once completed, the plan will be subsequently submitted to Dorset Council for inclusion in their review of the Local Transport Plan.
