THREE more pharmacies in Dorset will be joining over 20 other sites across the county to deliver Covid-19 vaccinations as part of the ongoing national programme which started in December.
To date over 750,000 doses have been delivered across the county, and it is hoped that the addition of more vaccination sites will help accelerate delivery amongst younger people who are becoming eligible for their jab.
The number of people dying of coronavirus across the county have continued to fall since the rollout of the vaccination programme.
People are being asked not to just turn up and ask for a jab and appointments at the new pharmacy sites can be made via the national booking system for people who are eligible.
The three new vaccination sites are: Pharmacy2U on High Street, Dorchester; Colehill Pharmacy on Middlehill Road in Wimbourne; and Ashley Heath Pharmacy on High Street, Ashley Heath.
A list of existing vaccination sites in Dorset can be found at www.dorsetccg.nhs.uk/vaccinations.
