A BOUTIQUE B&B recently named the 'world's fourth best' has won more praise.
Dorset House in Lyme Regis, which started welcoming guests back on Monday, has become the smallest business to achieve the sought-after accolade of Hospitality Assured Accreditation.
The quality accreditation from Hospitality Assured (HA) recognises excellence in customer service and outstanding quality.
Dorset House is run by Lyn and Jason Martin.
Mrs Martin said: "We’re overjoyed to hear we've met the standards of excellence set by HA and while the programme has been hard work, we really feel we have a stronger business as a result.
"The support that we’ve received has been invaluable in creating a robust structure to help us move the business forward.
"Now that the HA processes are engrained in our business, we look forward to working on further improvement."
Lockdown was a worrying time for the hospitality industry, but the B&B owners decided to use the downtime to refurbish their property and plan improvements to services offered to guests.
A spokeswoman from HA said: "It's the smallest business to ever achieve the sought-after accolade of Hospitality Assured Accreditation.
"Dorset House cannot be described as a B&B, but rather a home from home.
"Jason and Lyn are so passionate about their business and about giving a real bespoke service to guests. Good planning and the desire to please are evident."
The luxury B&B, in Pound Road first opened in 2014.
The luxury B&B ranked in third place in both Europe and the UK.
The Travellers' Choice awards sees Tripadvisor look through the millions of reviews left on its site to uncover the hotels and B&Bs that guests enjoyed the most.
Dorset House also picked up the Gold award for 'Best B&B and Guesthouse of the Year' as part of the South West England Tourism Awards back in April.
The 'home from home' uses produce from local suppliers including Downhouse Farm, in Eype; Trill Farm, in Musbury; Haye Farm, in Musbury; Ivy House Farm, in Somerset; and Four Elms Farm in Sidmouth.
