A TESTING site in Bridport has been changed into a 'rapid testing site'.
The coronavirus testing site at Bridport Leisure Centre's Rugby Pavilion will now be used to provide testing for anyone above 18 in the local area.
Appointments at the site are no longer necessary, and anyone who meets the criteria can visit the centre and be tested. Residents can also now collect home testing kits from the team at the centre. A maximum of four kits per day can be collected.
The leisure centre was chosen to provide lateral flow tests in March, as part of the Public Health Dorset initiative in the battle to control the spread of Covid-19.
