THERE have been a total of 19 new cases of coronavirus confirmed across Dorset over the last 24 hours.
Data released by the Government show 19 cases were recorded in the county in the 24 hours leading up to 4pm on Monday, May 10.
Across the Dorset Council area 12 people tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours. Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 11,933 cases in this area.
The Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council area has recorded seven new cases over the same time period, taking the total since the start of the pandemic to 25,408.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 37,341 confirmed cases of coronavirus across Dorset.
Figures show an increase of 122 cases across the south west, with a total of 222,061 recorded since the start of the pandemic.
A total of 2,009 new cases have been recorded across England - bringing the total up to 3,876,424 since the start of the pandemic.
Across the whole of the UK, 2,357 new cases of the Covid-19 virus were recorded taking the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 4,437,217.
