CLOSE TO £1,000 has been raised for Bridport's indoor skate park through the sale of unwanted CDs.
Clocktower Music decided to support the 2020 Skate and Ride in March 2020, putting a call out for residents to donate unwanted CDs to sell.
Customers were asked to donate their CD collections which Clocktower would then sell in the shop at 10 for £5.
A spokesman for Clocktower Music said: "We put out a call for your unwanted CDs back in March last year, and you didn't disappoint. Sales of those donated CDs from Clocktower Music, along with other fundraisers like the signed Primal Scream record auction raised nearly £1,000.
"So a massive thank you and please do bring in more, good condition CDs for us to sell as this vital facility needs continuing support."
The skate facility at Gore Cross is Clocktower Music’s chosen charity.
To donate any unwanted CDs, contact Clocktower Music on Facebook or visit the shop at St Michael’s Trading Estate.
